Monte-Carlo, Monaco — It is one of the most luxurious events on the Monte Carlo summer calendar. The Monaco Auction Week sees collectors and buyers from all over the world bidding on watches of collection, timeless high jewelry, luxury bags and sculptures and this year for the first time, design. We focus in on some of the jewels and timepieces that are on auction and although they have been given an estimate remain priceless none the less. This summer the auction house of Artcurial has organized two vintage watch auctions: Horlogerie de Collection (Collector’s Watches) et Le Temps est féminin which is devoted exclusively to timepieces for women. A Daytona, a Speedmaster and a collection of 10 Reverso watches are all on the agenda. The Temps est Féminin auction brings together luxurious pieces from houses like Piaget, Chopard, Van Clef & Arpels and Cartier.
