Paris, France — She is one of the greats. Catherine Deneuve. She goes well beyond iconic. And in an exhibition that is being played out on both sides of the Seine, she is looking great, as usual. This photographic tribute to her brings together some of the greatest photographers of all time: among them Helmut Newton, Bert Stern, Claude Azoulay, Jean-Claude Deutsch and David Bailey with whom she was once married.

Entitled Catherine Deneuve, Right Bank, Left Bank, the exhibition is running at the Galerie de L’Instant in the Marais on the Right Bank and in the Lutetia Paris hotel on the Left Bank. « The aim of this exhibition is an invitation to celebrate the beauty, the magic of cinema and the untamed freedom of a fascinating actress and woman, far from the rigid and distant image that she refutes, » commented Julia Gragnon, of the Galerie de l’Instant. Special to The Gourmet Gazette. From June 22nd until October 1st at the Galerie de L’Instant, 46 rue de Poitou, 75003 Paris, France.
