Paris, France — She is one of France’s most emblematic interior designers. The unique furniture and furnishings of Elizabeth Garouste are being showcased by the Granville Gallery in the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris. It’s a whimsical, beautiful world replete with a squirrel lamp and a flower encrusted table. So if you can’t be in Paris right now, The Gourmet Gazette brings the show to you. It is a fantasy world with a Baroque air. An eclectic journey filled with vases, mirrors, ceramic lamps and fun suspended faces all meticulously designed to offer a corner of dreams to a home. The award-winning designer, whose career stems back to the 1980s, combines her design talents with her artistic talents and a host of fanciful painted pictures pepper her works. The show, entitled Pop, features only unique pieces and is running through to March 27th.
