Paris, France – The elegant rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré celebrated summer in style last June 27th with its annual Summer Time Party with concerts, street art, food and more, so much more, with this year’s guest of honor being Canada. The Canadian Cultural Center is located on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré, a street lined with the French capital’s most elegant boutiques, art galleries, embassies and the Elysée Palace, home to the president of France.
Temperatures were in the high nighties for the evening which featured a performance by Canada’s Cirque de Soleil in front of the Cultural Center, live music, makeshift ice-hockey tournaments and an elegant classical concert in the Bristol hotel. Everyone joined in the party with the fine French gourmet eatery Dalloyau decked out in the colors of Canada and the internationally renowned house of Baccarat hosting a bourbon cocktail workshop.
The annual Summer Time Party is presented by the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, an association founded in 1902 and whose goal is to preserve the rare and prestigious heritage of one of the most luxurious thoroughfares in Paris.
